Jesus in 3D | Joshua Generation

During the beginning of September I got given a fun project concept by the Senior youth and young adults pastor of Joshua Generation. The breif was to create a set of graphics which would represent the teaching theme of the year.

The theme, being, 'Jesus in 3D', was one which didn't make sense to me at first but after some conversations and meetings I was on a good ground of understanding to what I needed to be doing.

I immediately booked my uncle's photography studio and found two willings models to help me out. The shoot it self was really easy and didn't take too long at all. Because the brief gave me so much flexibility to do what I wanted when it came to the photo shoot, the time we had was enjoyable and really fun.

Then it was straight into Lightroom and Photoshop to edit and super impose 3D colours into my models glasses that they were wearing. Part of the brief was to add in the signs saying 'Jesus in 3D' via photoshop to give it a slight cartoonish effect.

So I hope you like the final products. I have added in a few shots from the photo shoot as they also make me laugh every time I look at them.

Zöza Energy Drink | Design Work

I found this on my hard rive from last year...it reminded me how much I love experiments that turn into work that I am proud of. The concept I came up with was to create an energy drink brand. I thought Zöza has a certain ring to it and found out that Zöza is actually a place in southern Corsica. A beautiful hidden treasure filled with beautiful fresh water and blue sky. It was perfect. I knew this was a fun name for an energy drink and came up with this teaser poster.

I captured the water through dropping some stuff into a bowl of water and capturing the splash with flash. You can see more shots like that here!

Jason Upton | Worship Concert

I was recently asked to be the photographer for a worship event at The Forum. I had a great time shooting world renowned worship leader Jason Upton and ended up with some great shots! I was really excited to be taking pictures of the worship night as I am a big fan myself. I got some great shots from the event and I would love to share these with you!

The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe | Winter Production

Earlier this summer I posted a teaser for an upcoming production by Bath City Church of The Lion The Witch & The Wardrobe. Now I would like to share the published advertisement poster/branding which I have been developing for the past couple of months and will be advertised in Bath and the surrounding area.

The mountain background was an image taken in British Columbia by myself on a trip to Canada. Par the lion and lamp post This design was made from scratch.

Obsession 2014 | Logo & Design

During the past few months I have been working closely with Jubilee Church in Devon on re-creating their annual youth conference (Obsession Gathering) branding. I started from scratch in preparing a new style for the conference by making a logo which was simple but powerful. Incorporating the year number on the end of the Obsession word meant that we could consistently use the logo annually and just put the different year number with it.

Part of the brief was to create a design teaser for next years conference 'Thy Kingdom Come'. Starting on a blank canvas I used my own images that I took during bonfire night 2012 to add some great spark effects. I also added the odd cloud and lightning effect to add some atmosphere and then developed the rest in Photoshop.

I recently did a couples portrait shoot with Dominic & Chloe in the Bath Botanical Gardens. Being the middle of the summer season the weather was perfect which gave the shots that extra bit of glow.
